With a choice of inline four and six-cylinder diesel and petrol engines (turbo and mild-hybrid), a 5.0-litre V8 and a 2.0-litre 297kW/640Nm P400e plug-in hybrid) plus a bewildering array of variants, the Defender does everything in comfort, luxury and safety.
