G01 LCI xDrive20d Wagon 5dr Steptronic 8sp 4x4 660kg 2.0DT With an update in late 2021 that included a 30e plug-in hybrid, the BMW 3 Series-based X3 is a strong player among mid-size SUVs. Its market performance is bettered only by the Mercedes-Benz GLC SUV-coupe range. Available in either front-drive or AWD xDrive form, the X3 is plenty big enough inside, with a three-way rear backrest split enabling a bit of extra load-carrying versatility in a luggage area that spans from 550 litres to 1600 litres. Any of the available powerplants - 2.0-litre four-cylinder 135kW/290Nm 20i and 140kW/400Nm 20d diesel, 3.0-litre six-cylinder 185kW/350Nm 30i, 195kW/620Nm 30d diesel and 285kW/500Nm M40i - will happily tote anything within the maximum two-tonne towing capacity.Colors
