- OverviewG26 eDrive40 M Sport Gran Coupe 5dr Reduction Gear 1sp 250kW The all-electric BMW i4 Gran Coupe is a Tesla Model 3 challenger that comes in two versions: the base rear-drive eDrive40 M Sport and the performance-oriented, dual-motor-AWD M50, which was fettled by the M division and is capable of sprinting from zero to 100km/h in 3.9sec. The i4 eDrive40 has a claimed WLTP (World harmonised Light vehicle Testing Procedure) range of 590km and, like the i4 M50, can employ a 200kW DC charger to go from 10 to 80 per cent capacity in 31 minutes. The i4 is produced at a "flexible and sustainable" BMW Group manufacturing plant in Munich, Germany, employing secondary raw and recycled materials where possible.
