2023 Jeep Gladiator price and specs revealed
For 2023, the Jeep Gladiator undergoes a price adjustment along with several notable updates in its feature lineup.

For the year 2023, the Jeep Gladiator has undergone a price adjustment accompanied by a series of minor modifications.

The 2023 Jeep Gladiator lineup has been condensed to include only the Night Eagle model, while the Rubicon model has seen an increased payload capacity.

From July 1 of the previous year, Jeep had elevated the prices for the Night Eagle and Rubicon models to $73,450 and $82,450 before on-road costs, signifying an approximately $3000 hike for both.

For 2023, the prices have surged yet again to $78,250 and $87,250 excluding on-road costs – a jump of $4800. When compared to their respective prices in 2021, they have risen by $9,800 and $10,300.

Subtle changes have also been incorporated into both the Night Eagle and Rubicon models.

The Night Eagle now features a steering wheel wrapped in leatherette instead of traditional leather, and its 650 Amp battery has been replaced with a more robust 700 Amp one.

In the Rubicon model, the previous Fox shocks have been swapped out for Tenneco ones, and 17-inch machined black wheels have taken the place of the polished black ones.

The Rubicon also forgoes the Black/Dark Saddle interior option in its latest release.

While the front axle disconnect is no longer an available feature, it continues to feature front and rear electronically locking differentials along with a sway bar disconnect. Jeep has also confirmed that the fuel economy remains unaffected.

Pricing

2023 Jeep Gladiator Night Eagle: $78,250 (+$4800)

2023 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon: $87,250 (+$4800)

Prices exclude on-road costs.

Engine Performance and Fuel Efficiency

Equipped with the identical 209kW/347Nm 3.6-litre naturally-aspirated petrol V6 engine and an eight-speed automatic transmission as its predecessor, the Night Eagle boasts enhanced features such as an enlarged 8.4-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation, sleek 17-inch black wheels, a 4.10 non-locking rear axle ratio, remote start, and sophisticated black exterior accents, among other features.

The Night Eagle inherits Jeep's distinguished Selec-Trac four-wheel-drive system, coupled with robust Dana axles, sturdy rock sliders, three robust skid plates, and a crawl ratio of 47.8:1. The Rubicon variant levels up to the Rock-Trac system with front and rear locking differentials, electronic front stabiliser bar disconnect, and Tenneco shocks installed on both ends.

Each model is outfitted with skid plates for the protection of the fuel tank, transfer case, and transmission. The 2023 Jeep Gladiator demonstrates fuel efficiency at 12.4L/100km on the combined cycle.

Safety

The Jeep Gladiator earned a three-star rating from ANCAP, assigned in 2019. The Gladiator shares its rating and category scores with the Wrangler due to their close correlation. The Gladiator and Wrangler were given an adult occupant protection score of 60 per cent, a child occupant protection score of 80 per cent, vulnerable road user protection score of 49 per cent, and a safety assist score of 51 per cent.

Every 2023 Jeep Gladiator model is furnished with the following safety and driver assist features as standard:
