It continues with a shorter wheelbase than the Ranger and the ditching of leaf-spring rear suspension in favour of coil springs. There's the choice of rear-drive or 4WD and engines include an uprated 154kW/500Nm 2.0-litre turbo-diesel or a 184kW/600Nm three-litre turbo-diesel V6. A longer, taller five or seven-seat body bumps cabin and cargo space. All Everests include wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, wireless phone charging, sat-nav, keyless start/entry, dual-zone climate control, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and an electric park brake.
