F98 LCI Competition Coupe 5dr M Steptronic 8sp M xDrive 490kg 3.0T Both the BMW X3 M Competition and X4 M Competition take the performance levels of the company's mid-size SUVs to new highs with the application of a bristling, virtually all-new 375kW/600Nm 3.0-litre in-line six-cylinder engine powering through an eight-speed auto transmission to a multi-mode xDrive AWD system. While offering the same passenger and cargo-carrying practicality of the more retrained version, the M Competition X3 M and X4 M bring structurally reinforced M Sport suspension, massive brakes, 21-inch wheels and variable-ratio, speed-sensitive steering and a barking sports exhaust system.
